Terms of Service

Last updated August 1, 2026.

These terms are written as a complete, standard form agreement for a boutique studio operating in the United States. They are not legal advice. Have your counsel review and adapt them before publication.

1. Agreement

By using this website, booking a class, or attending a class at breathe yourself., you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or attend classes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least sixteen years old to book a class. Clients aged sixteen and seventeen require a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. You confirm that the information you give us at sign up is accurate and that you will keep it current.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Bookings, cancellations and no shows

Classes can be booked up to seven days in advance, or fourteen days for unlimited members. You may cancel a booking free of charge up to two hours before the class start time. Cancellations inside two hours, and no shows, forfeit the class credit or incur a late cancellation fee of fifteen dollars for members. Arriving more than five minutes after the start of class may mean you are asked to join the next available session, for the safety of the class.

5. Free first class

New clients are entitled to one free class. The offer is limited to one per person, is not transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be combined with other introductory offers. We may withdraw or amend the offer for future clients at any time, but not after you have booked.

6. Pricing, payment and memberships

Prices are shown in United States dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Class packs expire four months from the date of purchase and are non refundable once a class has been used. Unlimited memberships bill monthly on the date of purchase, renew automatically, and may be cancelled at any time with at least seven days notice before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future billing and does not refund the current period. We may change prices with thirty days notice to existing members.

7. Health, safety and your responsibility

Yoga is physical activity and carries risk of injury. You confirm that you are in adequate health to participate and that you will tell your instructor before class about injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or recent surgery. You agree to practise within your own limits, to follow instructions, and to stop if you feel pain, dizziness or distress. Instructors may offer modifications but do not provide medical advice or diagnosis.

8. Studio conduct

We ask that you arrive on time, silence your phone, keep the practice space quiet, respect the space of others, and follow the direction of studio staff. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who behaves in a way that threatens the safety or comfort of others, and may terminate an account for repeated breaches without refund.

9. Personal property

Lockers and shelves are provided as a convenience. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property brought onto the premises.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including copy, photography, class names, sequences, video and the breathe yourself. brand, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, record or resell it without our written permission.

11. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume the risks associated with physical exercise, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or participation in classes. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless breathe yourself., its owners, instructors and staff from claims arising out of your breach of these terms or your negligent or unlawful conduct on the premises.

13. Third party services

Booking and payment are handled by third party providers. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, misuses an offer, or presents a risk to other clients or staff. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The revision date appears at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or by notice on the site, and continued use after that point constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law rules (placeholder — client to replace). The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally first by contacting us. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon (placeholder — client to replace).

17. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site and our classes.
